Everybuggy had a blast playing "Sea Creature Dominoes" from this month's Spider. I just can't get enough of all the wild and wacky species that lurk beneath the sea. So when I saw Ophelia reading this poetry book about freaky sea creatures, I had to borrow it! The book's 18 poems explore fish, squid, and lesser-known marine animals like the coconut octopus; next to each poem is a brief description about the creature in the poem.
But what makes this book super cool is that the poems are written in different styles. In the back of the book each poem’s style is explained, which can help everybuggy learn to write a similar poem!
Last month I learned how to be a cartoon artist, and this month I'm learning how to be a poet. Although inventing is my true passion, I'm having a great time exploring my artistic side, too!
