Guyku: A Year of Haiku for Boys

Man, I REALLY loved the Doodlebug & Dandelion story in this month's Spider ("The Lodge")! I wish Doodlebug, Bog, and Rudyard had asked me to join the Lodge Brothers. I'm CRAZY good at designing armbands and making up chants; plus, I look great in guyliner.

Even though I can't be a Lodge Brother, I can still celebrate the joys of being a dude with Guyku: A Year of Haiku for Boys. The word "guyku" is a combination of "guy" and "haiku." A haiku is a three-line poem of 17 syllables, or beats: five beats in the first line, seven beats in the second line, and five beats in the third line. This book is divided into the four seasons, and each seasonal section features guykus about having fun outside all year long!

But don't feel left out, gals: this book is for everybuggy who loves the great outdoors!
