What's Everybuggy Reading: Thistle

Are We There Yet?

G'day, mates! This book is about an awesome adventure around the great continent of Australia. At the beginning, there's even a map of Australia showing the path that Grace, the main character, and her family travel. During one stop of the trip, Streaky Bay, Grace and her little brothers stick their heads in the mouth of a great white shark—a fake one, that is! In Geraldton, it's so windy that trees grow sideways! In the dunes, the dolphins are so friendly that they swim right by you. And at Phillip Island, penguins surf ashore and waddle on the sand.

Wow, this book makes me want to map out an adventure, too! Maybe Sonya could be my travel buddy, because I'm definitely too little to roam on my own. Throw some shrimp on the barbie and bring on the safari hats! (Gosh, I hope they make safari hats small enough for thistle weevils. . . .)
