The Mysterious Benedict Society
by Trenton Lee Stewart
A boy named Reynie lives in an orphanage. He has a tutor named Mrs. Perumal, and they read the newspaper. It says: “Are you a gifted child looking for special opportunities?” The three tests lead to a set of wild journeys. They had to do a lot of teamwork and trust each other to beat Ledroptha Curtain and his men. They have ten different ways of hurting you.
I think this book is really good and I liked it because it is a mystery and an adventure story and each chapter stops on a cliffhanger. The chapters are shouting to you: “Read me, read me.” It also makes your mind think a lot and it has a lot of puzzles.
