Tie a Bandanna Like a Real Cowboy!
Spidie da Dude here!
There's no denying that I look positively awesome in a bandanna. But cowboys didn't wear bandannas just to look cool—bandannas kept dust out of their noses and mouths, protected their necks from sunburn or windburn, and were even used as washcloths!
Here's how and where to wear YOUR bandanna!
What Ya'll Need:
- One square bandanna
- One cowboy 'tude
What to Do:
- Fold your bandanna in half to make a triangle.
- Arrange the triangle around your neck. One point of the triangle should hang over your chest, and the other two points should lie over your shoulders on your upper back.
- Cross the two points of the bandana behind your neck and tie into a knot.
- Wear your bandanna around your neck like a napkin during chow time, or pull it up over your mouth and nose when you're playing outside on a dusty field. Yee-haw!
